I've also being reading a little more about Mission Biofuels and trying to work out why that company is still trading above the initial float price. Some things to consider:
They are due to commission a 100,000TPA Biodiesel plant in Malaysia this month ... which puts them in a similar position to SBI.
They are planning another 250,000TPA Biodiesel plant in Malaysia and this plant is use Axens technology as per the Agri Enery plant.
The only real difference is that they are planning to use a 30% Jatropha feedstock mix in FY2008 which may give them a financial advantage
Also possible future joint ventures in China and India especially regarding the growing of Jatropha.
Jatropha could be a real benefit to the whole Biofuels industry as more competition could push down the price of feedstocks whilst burning holes in the pockets of people speculating in that feedstock.
To me, investing in a company such as NFL seems to be a better bet than a company such as MBT which has already rewarded the shareholders.
