This is the part I like, she broke the back of unionism but the UK still remains a basket case. Manufacturing there has died. Why, well a government built in laisser faire economics led to multinationals bleeding the country dry by sending profits offshore, destroying industry (so much for competitiveness) through rising costs, wacked the most vulnerable into submission to becoming the slaves of companies by low wages and high living costs bu yer profits in Bermuda etc etc. And we won't mention the budget. A disaster, but thanks for bringing this up as right wing policies and anti-unionism. Look forward to others to saying how great the UK is.

Facts say - "British car manufacturing enjoyed its best month in 17 years in March fuelled by demand for vehicles from abroad.
The number of cars to roll off UK production lines rose by 7.3% last month compared with a year earlier, to 170,691 - the highest number since March 2000."

Luckily, thanks to the union, Aussie car industry is not a basket case making a million vehicles a year.
