It is a pretty clever idea to introduce a renewable energy system into the repair of the grid .
If a large part of the grid is damaged and needs to be replaced it is surely the perfect opportunity to incorporate some new technology into it . This would be a good way of scaling up renewables to further their development for less money that would've been spent replacing a perfectly good grid somewhere else .
