It's not so simple, unfortunately. The Blanche1 drill core exhibited natural stress fracturing, pervasive throughout much of the sample. The indication is a granite body with the same natural system of fractures that GDY has intersected.
The difference, if there is one (as the HDR risk has been put forward as a possible risk - not a definite one), is that there are granite bodies that have demonstrated the ability to RETAIN water, and those that haven't.
Natural drainage patterns, particularly along natural jointing pathways, may serve as a chennel to wick away water at a constant rate, more so if pressure is applied.
