If the shorter are not covered they will start pushing on stock forums telling people that the price will drop and inferring that holders should act soon or miss out. Beware of first time posters suggesting action.
If the shorters are not covered they are going to have a tough time shaking a tree with 73m shares. I would not be surprised if Abu Dhabi takes a strong position on this one. If the t/o doesn't get up we may see a holder with a strong presence. This is not one rich privately owned company it is a state owned enterprise.
State owned enterprises particularly Arab and Chinese play the long game.
