But she did suffer Misogyny and could have done more for the rights of women.
She surrounded herself with men and had to put up with the jibes aimed at her husband
by the male dominated members of the Conservative Party. If she had have stood up to the misogyny, in those days they would have sent her on her way. So she basically played her role as if she was one of the boys.
