Have a look at the post from people last week following the delay and overrun announcement.

You will see that Management and Board made a number of apparently misleading statements over a period 6 weeks prior to the shock announcement last week.

When HNC dumped 6 mill shares at the end of June and spookedhe market about CMR, the Board issued a notice to reassure investors that the project was on time and on budget.

But since that time there has been a lot of short selling and some analyst recommending "sell" on the stock due to uncertainties. There was also a post by a person known as "oldie" back in march that said the project was seriously delayed and unlikely to be in production this year.
