To-day's exploration news that identifies a new 300,000 - 500,000 tonne "Magenta" gold zone of approximately 65,000 gold ounces (my guesstimate) opens up potential for establishing a second gold processing plant at the A1 mine.
Report makes reference to current stopes providing about 5-6 months of ore + Magenta of about 2 years. This implies a process rate of 150,000 - 250,000 tonnes per year. Assuming an annualized process rate of 150,000 tonnes at 4.5 g/t gold (94% recovery) = 20,000 ounces per year valued at $32.0 million. Assume OPEX of $1,000 per ounce for free cash flow of $600 x 20,000 = $12.0 million.
This justifies establishment of a process plant rated at 200,000 tonnes per year. Maybe some-one with local knowledge can get a fix on price of this plant??
