it means they are now in top 300 companies per market cap
shares on issue X share price = market cap
companies are ranked on size eg BHP #1

doesn't make the company bad or good just means the bigger the market cap the more people will notice it
and funds etc usually invest in top 500 companies

best way to explain i guess is they get more exposure to bigger money so if they have there stuff in order the will be ripe for the picking
