I know most of you are in Oz or the UK, and don't have a good feel for who's over here in the states with me. FAR is traded over-the-counter here (on my brokerage platform), so I am forced to deal with a market maker, rather than the open exchanges (ASX). This SOB market maker has been pushing-down the FAR SP in a brutal manner for about a week now, and today is the worst I've seen. These guys are not supposed to be trading and enriching themselves via the stocks of the companies they represent, but I know many of them do. Today's quotes (presently, and they likely won't change across the day... they rarely do across a given day of trading):
BID/ASK in USD 0.0462/0.06 which exchanges to:
BID/ASK in AUD 0.06/0.08.
This really burns my toast. I really loathe some of these market makers. I've run across a few (faceless/nameless on the market) who really are unscrupulous.
