I don't understand. I thought that 2017 production for neodymium is about 30 thousand tons, and consumption is about 45 thousand tons. That implies eating through existing stockpiles with a healthy appetite. Also, isn't about 40% of Lynas's neodymium being sold to China? Why would China be buying from Lynas?
