    Would that not depend on whether you can afford to buy a phone outright?

    For instance, if someone wants the iPhone X at $1200 AUD, but can’t afford to pay upfront and then also get the pre paid sim from Kogan, their only option would be either another phone type or to go on a carrier plan?
