A week of consolidation for PLS. Up 2.5% for the week.
Volume a lot lower this week than last week, so SP was range bound in the 70s cents most of the week. A "speculation" of BMW/GWM JV definitely help SP today. Once the JV is official, we should see PLS's SP jump again.
BMW/GWM JV (from informed sources):
- To produce "Electric" version of Mini in China: Not moving current Mini productions to China.
- The reason for JV is that China's regulations to encourage the production of electric vehicles will take effect in 2019, BMW is expected to China's electric car market will show rapid growth.
- JV does not affect production of patrol models.
If the above speculation is correct, not only GWM will use our Lithium, BMW will indirectly use our Lithium for Electric Minis.
Lock in your shares, SP is trending upwards very nicely ATM and just enjoy the ride.
