i dont think that is the question or if it is then i would say both.
my understanding is that crypto only works because of blockchain ? without it you would not be able to keep a record of all the currency on issue & who holds it ?
once blockchain is set up, it runs by itself & is open to all who have the knowledge of how to view the ledger. DCC is a facilitator that has that knowledge & can advise those that dont know what to do & charge a handsome fee in the process.
it would appear me, that people are turning to crypto instead of gold at the moment but it takes the control away from banks/governments & the like from currency control ?
that is why the chinese are trying to stop its advance & the banks are interested in it from a distance at the moment. IMHO its something not to be overlooked & wise to be invested in, understand it or not it is coming like it or not, so be in it or you wont win it !!
