I try to stimulate the profit that can be generated on the current MC waste by utilizing L-max as follow:
MC is producing 160,000tpa of spod with 61% production yield rate, assume 2018 spod price at 1,000 usd/ton and operating cost at 300 usd/ton, annual profit from MC spod is 160,000 x 700 = 112mio usd.
MC waste which i assume is 100%-61%= 39% which content 160,000 x39/61= 102,295 tpa spod equivalent. I assume 8 spod to 1 LCE and 2018 LCE price around 25,000 usd/ton, and the operating cost of L-max to be covered by the byproduct such as sodium silicate, potash, etc.
L-max on MC waste will generate profit of 102,295/8 x 25,000 = 319mio usd!!! This nearly 3x of MC profit!!!
Is this right?
