may not be all that relevant to ARH, but shows you how much is happening in the NW area. Along with train 5 and Pluto and Browse, plus Cape Preston Iron Ore project there is more than enough work up in the North West. cheers notthemama

After months of negotiations, the State Government has cleared the way for the $20 billion dollar Gorgon Gas Project to proceed with an LNG facility to be built on Barrow Island in Western Australia's north.
Earlier this year the Government gave in-principal approval for the project to go ahead and today the Minister for the Environment, David Templeman, signed off on a set of stringent environmental conditions.
The Gorgon Group will be required to complete annual environmental performance reports and establish a plan for the management of the flatback turtles located on Barrow Island.
Analysts say the onus is now on the Gorgon partners, Exxon, Shell and Chevron to commit final funding for the project.
