Fibre to node was a great on paper idea but simply shifts the bottleneck. Bandwidth costs money, as switches and servers have to be built to deliver data at faster speeds and higher volumes.

FTTN is less costly than FTTN and people coming up with all sorts of ill informed reasons why they should have FTTN to their house, without understanding the realities.

NAS will be mixture of swings and roundabouts but is driven by fundamentals, so likely overall nett contributor.

5g has profound upside game changing applications in agriculture which leverage the coverage advantage ofcTelstra's towers. There will be more infill towers added but the basic backbone and support logistics are in place already.
