Hey Faz, theres a saying that goes "Nobody ever went broke from taking profits". There are stories of people holding a stock from 2c to $2.00 all over hotcopper but personally I believe you have to come up with a strategy that suits your risk profile.
Over time I like to take some off the top, no matter how much you believe in a company (but thats just me, have been burnt before holding onto a stock too long believing it will always go up in value and lost all my paper profit)
If you are new to trading, start with small parcels, only invest how much you can afford to lose because there will certainly be losses (almost guaranteed, the market beats to a different drum), it takes a while to learn what to look for.
