IMO this is more clearing the decks crossing the i's and dotting the t's which given the overdue time frame has been insisted upon by a major player for whatever reason.

Further given the relative value at tim of deal - I would guess EMI are as anxious as the other players to restore value to the coy and its Sp so they can get back their cash.

Could of course be due to the pre trial discovery - who knows.

But as i said at the beginning only a guess and IMO DYOR
