Charts don't "predict". They show the reality up until the last trade.
And to an experienced Technical Analyst, they reveal market sentiment and likely direction of subsequent trades. But without a reasonable grounding in Statistics and Mass Psychology, most wannabes will flounder and miss the point. As do those who refuse to even make the effort, or are unable, to understand the basics.
