Rigggs,
I've paid absolutely no attention to treasury yields until now but if that chart is correct then I'm starting to understand why people have been going on about them!!
Just wondering if my logic is old news to anyone though:
Given that treasury yields have entered a sharp decline...
1. Presumably demand for treasuries has increased sharply.
2. Presumably this means that confidence in alternative investments (i.e. equities) has dropped proportionately....
3. If the trend continues and treasury yields "do the range"... ... Is confidence in the stock market collapsing... REGARDLESS of what the Fed does???
Regards,
Stuart.
