It can't be interpreted as positive either, a tight rock can have high permeability (we are near a fault) as well (not a good cap rock). Or if there is no gas/oil/water then at this depth it will be tight as nothing will be filling the pore space.
On the other hand could be a great seal? Glass half full or half empty.
