The away strip wasn't needed 30 years ago so why is it needed now? The only reason the other clubs buckle to the AFL is a financial one, they sell new jumpers to the kids and the flogs in the cheer squad and make a few extra dollars. Imagine how much more money the Pies would make if they went with a new strip, after all, we have more flogs than anyone.

Once you other supporters understand that Collingwood isn't a team like the rest of you, it's our religion, you'll understand why we are loathed to change the jumper.

Although the Black on White strip we'll wear Friday night is ok. Not a big change but it does make a difference.

Geelong are CLEARLY the best team in the AFL but will their minds wander to the next week and a little self preservation come into play like Essendon v Carlton 1999?? Hate to get hurt and miss the big one...

Pies to give them a good scare and I hope we get up but I think they'll be a bit strong.
