nbn reported fibre connection to one house cost nbn $40,000.just saying.
Australian economy has a priority list of infrastructure projects,money/taxes r finite.
The reason the nbn had no analysis excluding the one rudd paid $25m for ,and no business plan submitted to infrastrucure australia or the productivity commission is because rolling out fibre on a national scale to 93% of premises is bs.
It cannot b compared to electricity grid because electricity grid had no alternative at the time .
Absolutely there r more important infrastructure projects that would benefit the economy more than connecting fibre to 93% of premises and imo IA and PC would have said so and any outside analysis would have said so.
its another rudd dudd.,and yes coalition has stuffed the submarine project,unfortunately one of the most important defence projects similar JSF.
ps and y i suggest govts should not b allowed to dream up political policies unless approved by IAPC especially on such lge scale as it means other imperative infrastructure will b delayed.
