The announcement said it already had approval so that means it's submitted and waiting. I believe it can sit their for a couple of weeks in this state before it has to be "reapproved". WGL would have had to advise an approximate release date with the application then just give the nod.
Maybe it's changed since i looked into it but that wad how it used to work. Sean did say iOS definitely this week though.
