Fug, the problem I have is the cost. I would like a Rolls Royce but know I can't afford it. My argument is that whilst certain businesses may get use out of it, most residential premises don't need it. I don't need it and don't want it. I am quite happy with ADSL and will opt for mobile when the time comes. In the decades to come there will be better technology around. In the meantime I think Telstra will go ahead in leaps and bounds with 5G, the word will get around and the fact they can't advertise against the NBN won't matter.
