The NBN rollout will not stop in its tracks because of this article or because the PM suggested it was a poor investment (despite him steering the ship over the last 4-5 years).

NTC have FTTC opportunities internationally. I'm sure there are other countries looking at Australia and learning while we spend. For countries that are small with dense populations FTTP works, for countries with disperse populations FTTC is the sane solution.

Today I’m also pleased to inform you that the same technology (FTTC) is currently being trialled in Thailand and we expect to provide it to other countries in the coming years.
