Well I didn't see that deal coming! Very smart and an excellent arrangement for MDR! While I like most of what I have read here I disagree strongly with the suggestion that they don't have much competition. They have heaps albeit I think they are currently out maneuvering their competitors. Current competition that needs to be watched are the folks who built the app for Chemist Warehouse, HealthEngine who recently introduced their own medication management function in their app, the Pharmacy Guild who have launched their own version too and who likely now see MDR as their fo, Pharmengage and probably others. MDR now have a mighty war chest and solid strategic backer but the race is far from over. I still believe international expansion when they haven't yet secured the Australian market is premature. Execution has been excellent to date.
