I'm really not sure what you mean by this, board members lobby for their company, that's their job, apart from the other regulatory stuff which is mostly captured by the Chair and secretary. I mean why else would they appoint Cheney and Metz to a chemical company?
These are great appointments, and they appear to be working. Of course I'm talking about the real world and how it actually works.
