Apprentice has made his point beautifully, and quite subtly, by blandly quoting a figure far below the mine life projected on currently defined ore resources. The Bankable Feasibility Study states that the current resource is 1.43 billion tonnes, which, at a mining rate of 20 million tonnes per year, will obviously last for about 70 years.
Since the orebody is known to continue in depth well beyond the current calculated figure, and the Lodestone prospect has yet to be added into consideration, it is very likely that the ultimate figure will involve a much greater extraction rate, and quite possibly a longer time.
It may be boring to read it again, but it's good advice: DYOR!
