Buru could produce at 3000 bopd today but the 1500 bopd would be what they think is the optimum rate at the moment to maximise the recovery and value of the oil in place .
As they get more information on the field maybe they will tweak the rate up a bit .
U3 information is great because it allows UFW to be brought into production even if it has significant water cut .
It has benefits to maintain reservoir pressure as the field depletes and production wells start to make water .
Great announcement all positive and well explained to the market .
