I'm from the states currently working abroad in Asia.
Yes I'm not familiar with a lot of what you Aussies talk about.
Just reading about super(annuation), if people didn't use slang or contractions I would have been able to understand.
I'm actually surprised that Australia is a free country, employers are forced by law to pay money into your super account?
Even if you run your own business you have to pay yourself plus super into a separate account.
The cherry on top is that you can't touch your super until you are close to your death bed.
