This is what I think:
First, there is the psychology of all the news flow - this has been very positive, although there have been plenty of early naysayers dampening it down.
Obviously, there is the pitch itself - the terrain and the embedded gold, distribution density unknown - rumoured high, but yet to be revealed and confirmed; then we have the added intrigue of the recent royal appointment to the board. Intrigue and drama increase.
Anyone selling now is premature.
I'm thinking, what happens between now and confirmation? It's a high risk period, but what if the Sheikh's friends start buying in, just for a bit of sport? Whatever the outcome of the testing, this can only be positive for the sp. I could see a gold rush amongst his pals.
The weekend will give potential buyers time to digest the news, and position themselves to buy in.
I think the likelihood of a price rise into next week is very high. Profit-takers will miss out on the upside.
