my the above post comes from market profiling.. which says that mms and exchanges will always head markets into their sweet spots.. that is, the zones where they get most transactions.. then they traverse the zones looking for 'value' ... ie max transactions and max profit.. a static market does nothing for them.. when markets are stable mm's will generate volatility.. preferably within a range.. cos its more controllable.. that is, there are borders they can play off to rip you off.. so they fade the bull breaks and the bear breaks.. cos most of us play them.. that way the mm's get two transactions out of each player whereas in a trend they only get one for quite a while.. and the best mm's are assigned to the indexes and the big stocks..
