Between 1.6 and 2.2 there is quite a huge amount of resistance, even off screen, ready to slow any run or quickly knock them back down...
Returning sentiment is nice to see... Got a bit dark here for a while... But AVL still have a lot to prove when it comes to getting offtake and mining going.
Quite a lot of missfires over the past year, so it will take a lot to convince long term holders that this thing is ready to move..
And I suspect short of mind blowing news that triggers everyone to hold on tight for a big rise, any progress upwards will involve a huge amount of churn before clear skies are reached in the mid 2's...

Still, the potential is why general interest and enthusiasm has been maintained for a few years now, but potential has proven it doesn't increase SP...
