That's no bl00dy good. I'm down a bit over the last week or so but I have managed to limit the damage. The option spreads are causing the pain. I'm just a little bloke and because of that I have to get a bigger move. I'm also still very new at this so I'm learning a lot. One thing I have learnt this week is to look closely at the spread as a percentage of the option price. If it's too big, don't bother. Opening gaps in the wrong direction have been my other grief recently. They just plain hurt.

Must confess I'm looking seriously into putting some funds into future trading. Options for quiet markets, futures for volatile times. In the last fortnight I have added 50% to my futures paper account with relative ease and scalping. No overnight positions. All I have been trading is the day SPI and the Ftse in the evening. Both chart quite well and it would seem I'm better at the short term stuff so maybe I should be leaning that way. Give me a one minute futures chart and it's like a computer game. All those "wasted" hours as a child are starting to pay off ;-)
