I think you've done quite well then after all. Bear in mind this is quite volatile at times, much like the banks can be, but SP has been on a growth trajectory for some years.
I used to hold AMP, but view this as superior. And as I only hold BOQ of the banks nowadays, I am happy for this to take the space in my financials.
I like a very savvy management at IFL, the dividend is good and likely growing I'd expect, and to the Broker who a poster here says claimed this purchase of ANZ's NZ wealth business is a poor buy, I'd suspect the broker might be trying to ramp ANZ to his clients by saying "look how they got rid of this to IOOF".
Remains to be seen, but I think IFL would have done their due diligence welll and truly on our behalf wouldn't you?
