IMO,shareholder can ask CEO to pay reasonable dividend every year.
CEO should work for the company and shareholders at the same time.
Usally CEO gets huge salary every month,thus CEO should think about shareholders who get nothing from the company except dividends.
IMO,if any company makes profits,the profits should be used for the growth of the company businesses, strength of the balance sheets and payment of the dividends.
If company does not pay reasonable dividend,it is cheating the shareholders' reasonable expectations.
