The Chinese market is still selling a huge amount of its EV production to the Internal Domestic market.
This will continue with EV subsidies of $15k per car and fast Liscence plate orders. Where as the ICE cars have long waiting times to register and obtain Liscence plates.

Chinese Bus manufacturer BYD is absolutely killing it with Exports to the USA, South America and Europe. Along with Joint Ventures to manufacture EVs in South America and Europe.

GM and Tesla have to ramp up production to rival Chinese producers. Thats why Tesla has been planning to manufacture in China for the last two years. Able to circumvent expensive import tarriffs and production labour. Will be interesting to see how Tesla fairs. Recently the foriegn owned batterry makers in China were cut off from the lucrative govt subsidies. Tesla needs 3 to 5 game plans to thrive and survive in China.

In the next 2 to 5 years European Car Manufacturers will be begging via "Tenders" for Chinese Lithium Batterys.
