3) The "this generation" verse is not a separate new verse relating to an unspecified far off 2nd coming event. It fits in perfectly and flows from the previous verses and is clearly the "wrapping up" of them.
I believe the original Greek is not separated into verses at all.
I can't believe I even allowed myself to be drawn into this shameful nonsense, but anyhow, last time for sure!
If one goes back the the Beginning of 13, even blind Freddy can see it as clear as day, but apparently you lot are blinder than Fred haha.
Ex the Gospel must be published among all nations 10. and Fred would know that wasn't expected in their generation = wake up Guy's and Gal's.
Then it goes on about other things clearly not expected by Fred, BECAUSE Fred knows about Daniel's prophesy and how there is a time frame in that and if the time wasn't shortened, no one would be left.
Holy Sh........ Fred goes
And Jesus at 28 goes calm down Freddy, don't you worry 28 - Of moreover =Beyond what has been stated; besides - he then goes into the parable.............that near summer is;
29. So also (therefore) when
you see "THIS" (Fig Tree leaves etc) coming to pass, now that near it is at the doors.
So then the basics are then - Truly I say unto to you, this generation, the ones that see the fig tree event, will not pass.
You will notice the bold "you see" here, the Greek word here "idete", from what I can find out this is often what it means = to see with the mind, spiritually see, with inward spiritual.
The evidence when the whole chapter is considered (whole truth), Daniel etc, in now way was the Fig Tree sign going to be for them he was talking to. To suggest otherwise = Jesus's promise and "clarity" The Sheep will hear his voice.
So thanks Guy's, confirming once again, The Bible.
