I think we shouldn't seek the reason of why the SP has suddenly risen, but rather ask ourselves why for so long it was that low. It is believed by many posters that the fair value was much higher than the one we had been having lately.
DCC SP is like a pressure cooker, you can put a lid on it and keep it down for a while, but when the pressure built by buyers is too strong, it will finally be unleashed to find its true value.
