Yeh thats what i think. Only the top few stones will sell is the opinion of the famous article imo. Sounds about right to me, however some other bidders were looking at the smaller ones. These are rubies so they are rare and for buyers to walk away on first day it isn't a good sign imo, it means they can get better elsewhere, no buying demand = low price. Even the big ones looked pinkish and if they got to treat it to look redish thats a lower price again. Who knows how accurate the article is but it has to carry some merit. I'm expecting just the bigger good ones to sell and maybe a few of the small commercial ones for production runs, 20% clearance max from my point of view.
