Tuesday - September 25: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Sunshine Gas (ASX:SHG) reports the Lacerta pilot production wells,
Queensland, have reached gas flows of 1.27 million cubic feet per day
without any sign of output levelling off.
"Total field production has reached about 1.27 million cubic feet
per day of gas, which means we are currently flaring at a rate equivalent
to approximately half a petajoule of gas a year," managing director Tony
Gilby said.
The remaining four pilot production wells (total 16) are in
various stages of being brought on-line.
Sunshine Gas shares were up 1c to 96.5c.
