What the article clearly demonstrates from the scripture is that the grave, hades and hell are different entities and Mr Gordon's view cannot be supported by looking at the entirety of the scripture.

Godless men are described being cast into the lake of fire but also in Matthew these people are also cast out into outer darkness

We must be careful not to think of hell as we do in the Western world with images of Dante Alighieri's Inferno from his poem the divine comedy, that is actually a description of Islamic hell from the Quran not one derived from the bible.

What is clear is that the light of man will not be present in hell, there will be much lament and grief if one finds themselves cast out of God's presence. Jesus himself spoke more about hell then heaven around 3 times so it is wise to pay attention

    King James Bible
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Mr Gordon does try to tickle the ear with the message of a second chance that Jehovah Witnesses will tutor individuals during this period to give the lost one last chance, it is a colourful invention but if you look closely even in the end the JW has no assurance of salvation

You see the Jehovah Witness believes this second chance period of 1000 years they will slowly become more perfect but if they sin and fail they too will be sent to hell. And if you make it through 1000 years of obedience to Jehovah you have one final mystery test to overcome and it is not God that delivers the test but Satan. Fail at the last hurdle and in you go into hell.

Of course the above is absolute non biblical cultic rubbish

as a Christian you have salvation assured.

    Alive with Christ
…7in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not by works, so that no one can boast.…

Copperbod you have been saved through faith, not maybe

    English Standard Version
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

So yes the wrath of God will remain on the rebel, not really possible if you are annihilated as some cults teach

Jesus himself had the wrath of God poured on him, on the cross, to pay the redemption price for his creatures.

The Jehovah Witnesses have this pervasive work based salvation that they just cannot let go of and is very symptomatic of man made religions. The work was completed on the cross there is no second chance to work through no final demonic test to pass.

    New American Standard Bible
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
