"LumaGraphics patented technology allows for the depletion of pixels normally needed to display a given image but without a loss of picture quality or resolution.
In certain applications, as little as 10% of the pixels are required to display a full image. Although only 10% of the pixels exist, the psycho-physics of the human visual system ‘fills in’ the missing elements.
The result is a high picture quality illuminated display screen, which is produced at a fraction of the manufacturing cost of conventional display screens of this type, with notable savings in operating, maintenance and installation costs.
Individual modules to be joined together or securely attached to other surfaces (e.g. the wall of a building, a rooftop or roadside frame or inside the roof facia of a building). Each module is weather and dust protected to provide a long and trouble free operating life.
The lightweight modules can be mounted on a simple chassis docking system, which enables the sign to be easily integrated into existing structures or signs. Installation is simplified where an application limits complex support structures or where weight restrictions apply".

Lumacom Technology achieves a visual effect comparable with or superior to that of competitive products but with less raw material inputs and reduced energy inputs.
LumaPanel signs have lower material inputs because they are lighter and typically use only 10% of the components of a traditional LED sign. Fewer components means a reduced need for recycling and disposal. The anticipated life cycle of Lumacom products is approximately 15 years.
In relation to LumaPanel, 75% of the material by weight used in construction of the panels is aluminium, which for a typical sign is around 1,200 kilograms of material. In any year more than 25% of aluminium production is from recycled material".
