The ten centres offer 150 sessions, across all three age groups. The number of sessions reporting as being fully occupied, out of the 150 is 3.
The total number of days on offer is 50. The total number of days reporting as being fully occupied out of 50 is zero.
Occupancy levels across the sector are a problem. The Childcare Package will do little to improve the situation. Many families will be $30 per week better off, but will they hand that back to the child care provider and enrol for another day? Families are overwhelming saying it is not enough of an incentive to increase attendance.
