Chariot & Warrego Mines – Centralian Minerals Limited
Although Centralian Minerals Limited (formerly Giants
Reef Mining) have announced the closure of Chariot mine and Warrego processing plant in November 2005, the company will continue to conduct substantial regional exploration programs (estimated $2-3M in the next year).
The company aims to define sufficient new resources
and further define existing small high-grade deposits (i.e.Black Snake, Golden Kangaroo, Edna Beryl) within the next 1-2 years to recommence mining and treatment operations in Tennant Creek. The company has a joint venture agreement with Meteoric Resources over the Barkley Project Area.

The company has also invited expressions of interest to
farm-in to two packages of highly prospective exploration tenure (the Northern Project Area and Eastern ProjectArea).

That was early last year.....i have only recently bought in so im not up to date, but maybee they are close to starting mining at Tennant creek? is this still happening?
