I don't think you guys really understand what the long term potential of a properly-constructed FTTP NBN would have meant for Australia... it's not all just about how long it takes to download a movie.
I think Telstra both missed an opportunity to build out a great FTTP network (and associated monopoly), and also dodged a bullet (with the LNP screwing the plan). Still, a few investments in other things, continued development of the 4G and 5G network - hopefully it will pay off for TLS.
