It sounds like you will make the right decision for your own circumstances. However, it is quite clear from your post that you did virtually no due diligence whatsoever on this company before buying in. This can be a very valuable - and quite cheap - lesson for you moving forward. Due diligence is your friend, and will prevent you from entering a stock with unreasonable expectations.
