they have big display stands in stores in which they were not previously, and moved the stands into positions where they were never seen before.
I almost tripped over a big display of Kinders in the dairy section of my Woolies store.
and yep, Kinders displays were much larger, and much more prominent in Kmart.
another big display in local IGA, with a new Kinder product (don't know what it was, but not the old egg thing).
Kinder must be throwing sales/store personnel at these retailers, in an attempt to draw customers away from Yowies.
If Yowies are going to try moving into Coles and Woolies, they are going need a huge stock of supply warehoused in Aust, and will need personnel to service these accounts to keep Kinder at bay.
Frankly, a much better use of the cash on hand, rather than buying back shares it does not need.
Makes for a better use of the cash imho.
